A Vulnerability Assessment is a testing service that is designed to find security weaknesses in an organizations network. The assessment mechanism collects security exploits in a library and searches your networked servers, routers, switches, and desktops for any exploit they might have that is within the mechanism exploit library.

The purpose of an assessment service is to allow an organization to understand their security holes, and mitigate those weaknesses that an attacker might use to gain unauthorized access. A Vulnerability Assessment can be said to measure the width of an organization's network risk.

Your Vulnerability Assessment includes delivery of a comprehensive report at service conclusion. This report is broken into 2 parts, an executive summary, and a technical details report. The executive summary quantifies risks in a visual manner that is easy for a non-technical reader to understand. The technical details report details the vulnerability data, and includes the necessary mitigation strategy to eliminate the security risk.
