Managed Vulnerability Assessments (MVA)

Most networks are dynamic in nature. This tendency towards change results in increased potential for the introduction of new vulnerabilities and/or configuration errors. A single vulnerability assessment can only measure how vulnerable a network is at one point in time. Managed Vulnerability Assessment (MVA) services are regularly occurring tests that can identify network weaknesses over a period of time. The benefit of an MVA is that it allows network administrators to have a constant idea of their security posture.

External Vulnerability Assessments
External Vulnerability Assessments measure the vulnerability of your network to attack from outside the network perimeter, usually from the Internet. External Assessments show just what an outside attacker might see should they make your network their target.

Internal Vulnerability Assessments
Over two-thirds of corporate attacks come form a trusted individual on the inside of the network perimeter. Internal Vulnerability Assessments allow you to measure your security posture from the perspective of an internal attacker who has been given some level of network trust.
